Budget: Lori Borget gave budget for month. The most paid out was for Teacher Appreciation. Theme baskets will be another expense for month. No money has been taken out of the music fund for the year. She reminded all to turn in receipts by the last day of school. The sales tax refund came back lower than expected.

Stephanie: Discussed the PTA convention and talked about sending the Needs Assessment form out at the end of the school year for parents to bring back next in upcoming school year. Also, the tee-shirt company can make cups and pens with our school logo on them and thinking about selling those for back to school days.

Membership: Sarah Ferrin collected hours from members. The volunteer of the month was Joe Price who had 445 mins in class time. Yearbook is being sent and we will pass out on the 22nd and sell the extras after that. Volunteers are needed to assemble and pass out to teacher classrooms.

Carnival: Angela needs volunteers for this night. We will have a presale for tickets and wristbands. There will be 100 free slices of pizza and snacks. 72 volunteers needed so that we can have the discount on the carnival. Volunteer sheets need to be turned in by Monday.

Fun Run: Margie got the approval by the city and needs volunteers to come help and the main area in the back field which will need 15 volunteers. Suzanna Brunson is in charge of the back field. Prizes will be given out for top finishers.

Theme Baskets: Sam still working on getting more donations and needs help assembling baskets. Baskets will be on display for parents and students to see. Amber’s idea was to put pictures of the baskets on the blog to show businesses thanks for what they have donated and so parents can see baskets.
